This is at 109 High Road East, telephone 01394 277789, which is on the main road on way to the Ferry, in the paradfe of shops beside the supermarket

Open: 10am-5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday, 12-2pm Sunday - watch that, it's not always open.

This a tea room, which also provides a good basic lunch in a bright new extension at the rear of the shop. It seats 22, and provides leval access for disalbed persons. There is no smoking allowed.

This is an interesting combination of antiques, bric-a-brac and the café, all run by the proprietor.
